2027 KLK Family Reunion
Rochelle and I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a most joyous New Year. We also hope that you each had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our strategy to facilitate the 2027 reunion is to canvas local hotels for the best response to attendee needs, e.g., dining, shopping, entertainment, gaming and social gatherings. We are excited to share our region with you, especially the new Casino and Resort currently under construction in Vallejo. Though we will not be staying at the resort, we expect to have access to the Casino and enjoy its new gaming rooms, dining, entertainment, etc. Additionally, we are busy networking with local wineries to provide us a winery tour and wine tasting opportunity. Two wineries in particular include V. Sattui Vineyards and Benziger Vineyards, both in beautiful Napa Valley. We are also looking to report of modes of travel and emergency services should the need arise. Again, we are really excited to host the 2027 reunion and so look forward to seeing you all.

While we are trying to fill the experience with numerous adventures, we are seriously considering hosting a traditional reunion where we all get to enjoy each other, e.g., meet new members of the family, recall family antidotes, stories and historical events that need to be shared, or passed on, to our youths, many of whom know little to nothing about our struggles and contributions, ensuring them know the legacy of the Keys-Lewis-Keyes family. We are considering doing so at a traditional family BBQ in the park with plenty of outdoor games, fun, and laughter and of course plenty of good food, soft drink, and other libations for adults only.

The committee is discussing the arrangements and will publish updates monthly henceforth. Though we have four local airports, Oakland International is likely the best to use. Other airports include Sacramento, San Francisco and San Jose. These three airports are farther away and will likely cost much more to get to the reunion facilities.
